Catch of the Day

My husband's coworker is expecting a little boy and he is a real fisherman! So when the baby shower came I thought what better than to personalize some cards.

I had the husband sneak me a copy of the baby's ultrasound and really surprised the mom-to-be.
This one has the baby's name written as fishing lures and bobbers

Carnival Cupcake Toppers and Tags

For our friend's Ella and Aubrey's Carnival Themed Party I was asked to design some labels.

This one they attached to a pencil that was included in each child's goody bag which was really one of those popcorn boxes

Here are the labels I designed for the cupcakes

Purple Ballerina Party

Recently my friend's daughter celebrated her 4th birthday with a Purple Ballerina themed party. I really enjoyed helping plan this party as I was a little ballerina at one time too.

Owl Party

For my daughter's second birthday we had an owl themed party.

I created these logos for the party and included them on cake pops

Cake pops with the cute little owl sticks

The fabulous cake was made by our cousin, Renee who owns Hello Cupcake
check out her blog

I also created these matching return address labels for sending out thank you cards

Vegas Bridal Shower & Wedding

When I found out my sister was getting married I was so excited for her. Then I found out the wedding was going to be in Vegas and I was even more excited. I instantly began thinking of all the fun party ideas!

We had a bridal shower for her at a local restaurant with a casino theme of course. Here were the invitations

We had Vegas themed games such as a word search and word scramble

The favors were individual drink mixes with the Welcome to Las Vegas Sign with my sister's name and shower date.

We included casino signs and gold coins all over the table

For her actually wedding I made all the bouquets

and the kissing ball the flower girl held

Brown & Blue Christening Invitation

When my co-worker decided to have her son Christened and asked me to make the invitations, I was honored.

Girl's Night Out

I had the pleasure of designing an invitation for a co-worker who was throwing a bachelorette party for her friend. She was looking for something fun and flirty since they would be attending a Lap Dance Aerobics Class.

Monograms

Monograms can be used for a number of things. For my daughter's first birthday I created the one below.

I made my daughter a shirt to wear for the party with this monogram on it and I also included them on the children's goody bags

Pink & Zebra Print Party

When my friend Jaclyn's daughter turned 2 I got to help plan this fun, hot pink and zebra themed party.

Pink & Gray Baptism

When our daughter was born we had her baptized and here are the invitations that I created

We had everyone over our house afterwards for a celebration that included food and drinks

A made a couple cross banners out of card stock because I didn't like the decorations the stores had to offer

The decor also included some pom pom balls

Cupcake Invitation

Our little cousin Lola was in town for her 1st Birthday and the family threw her a cupcake themed party. I made these cute cupcake invitations for the event

Pink Cupcake Party

I had the pleasure of helping a friend of mine plan her daughter's first birthday. It was a pink cupcake themed  party.

Our Wedding

Joe and I got married in March 2008 and we wanted a simple, yet elegant celebration with lots of personal touches.

This was the isle runner I hand painted with the monogram I designed

Here are some of the monograms that were designed but not used

Ceremony Program

Instead of having our guests pick up cards with their table assignment on them I designed candles with each couples names and table number. It looked pretty and provided more candle lighting in the dining room

Instead of table numbers we used words of virtue with a photo of the 2 of us. Favors were also wrapped in matching colors and we also had little wine bottles with our monogram on them.

I wanted to include those who couldn't be there with us but were with us in spirit. I made these memory candles to do just that.

The menus were printed and I included a little ribbon around the napkin to dress it up

The candy buffet was a personal favorite with the theme, "Love is Sweet". The words are made of Styrofoam

Guests were able to take candy home with these Chinese take-home boxes, also including our monogram. The sign reads,
 "Grab a box
Take a Treat
and don't forget that
Love is Sweet"
